He started dealing with photography in the late 1950s being active in the School photoclub. His first photo was exhibited in 1963, participated in 187 group exhibitions, won 54 awards and made 51 solo-exhibitions. As from the mid of 1970s to the mid1980s he worked as a photojournalist for the newspapers and magazines. His photo-essays were published in the all major daily papers and periodicals. He’s been a juror for exhibitions made in B&H and abroad. He is the president of the Centre for Creative Photography which makes exhibitions of domestic and foreign photographers.
