Works Synopsis

From my numerous trips to Tibet with the help from my Tibetan master, I am privileged to assess special places such as the sacred prayer sessions held in very low light condition and which are usually out of bounds to visitors. The Lamas (monks) practice the Vajrayana form of Buddhism which is unique due to its geographical condition, high up in the mountain with scarce resources and blending in well with the ancient Bon Culture. One will see many colourful prayer flags, elaborate prayer sessions, well-crafted prayer accessories, holy dances and festivals. They believe that it is highly meaningful and difficult to obtain the human body form to learn and practice the teachings of the Buddha in the right environment.Through my panel of photographs, I strive to showcase the different impressions of Vajrayana. I hope that it will inspire others to discover more.
