A banker for thirty-one years & a passionate amateur photographer for last eight years. A student of late Prof Manohar Desai for ‘Basic Photography Course’ & of Dr Shivji Joshi for learning five mantras of photography i.e. ‘Line, Light, Life, Vision & Visualisation’. During last eight years of photography, earned many distinctions, awards in salons, wrote weekly column in newspaper & articles for publications of photographic clubs. She idolises ex-president of India, late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and his beautiful quote “Dream is not that you see in sleep, Dream is something that does not let you sleep” is a reverberating source of inspiration for her.Her dream is to gain distinctive knowledge and experience in the field to become an accomplished photographer.
The Pushkar Fair which is also called ‘Pushkar Ka Mela’ is one of India's largest animal fairs, mainly of camels & horses. It is held in the month of Kartik as per the Hindu calendar which typically overlaps with late October and early November in the Gregorian calendar. It is held in the town of Pushkar near Ajmer city of Rajastan, India.Pushkar Fair 2023 was from 20th Nov to 28th Nov 2023. I spent three days in the fair, mainly at camel fair.
