A woman in Sapanta in Maramures, Romania; she overlooks her house where the corn cobs are placed which will then be used during the year. It is a method of drying this product which was found in many peasant houses and which is now disappearing. The wood that will be used for heating during the winter is placed under the window. In this region of Romania, rural traditions are still maintained over time.
