I am an amateur photographer interested in street, architectural and documentary photography.
This photo was taken in rural Barasat, West Bengal, India. This photo captured a boy plucking water lilies from a jute processing shallow water body also known as 'bill' in local terms. The stem of water lilies are consumed as food and often used in cooking. Little boys of the rural area many times jump into the 'bill' playfully to collect the water lilies for their mom to cook.
