I was born in the largest sandy land in China, the Horqin Sandy Land, and I have never left since I started working in the region. After embarking on the photographic journey, I have gradually focused on the sandy land where I was born and raised. I try to record in a comprehensive and systematic way the original state and the evolution of change of this sand, from pure light and shadow to the stormy wind, from small sand particles to the vast sea of sand, from the desolate pale yellow to the oasis, from the quiet and lonely to the hustle and bustle... I have made nearly 20 photo series before and after. "Rhythm of the Sand" is one of the many series that show the craftsmanship of nature in creating a variety of fascinating images on the surface of the sandy land.
