Myself, Venkatesh BS (called Venkat by friends), am a passionate amateur photographer, traveller and also an avid reader/writer. I am based out of Bangalore, India.I have been doing photography since my college days. Have travelled worldwide for landscape & monuments photography. For the last few years, I have done multiple cultural photo tours all over India, including meeting tribals. I also do wildlife photography and go on frequent safaris.
This photo was captured last month at Pushkar camel fair in Rajasthan, India. Here, camels are bought and sold by the owners, who breed the camels for selling them. This event occurs in the cooler month of November every year. This photo captures a nomadic camel herder with his camels in the desert fair late afternoon.
